In the newly renovated Monastery of Leça do Balio, the Livraria Lello Foundation presents the exhibition “Act The Thought – the threats of disinformation”, co-curated with UNESCO MIL Alliance and the Inside Out international project.

In response to the growing concern about disinformation, this exhibition aims to reinforce the commitment to empowering people to read the world, promoting an informed society. The exhibition also includes a sound installation by Diana Policarpo, entitled "ALEA", which explores the deconstruction of words and melodies to create new meanings.

Contemporary landmark designed by Álvaro Siza, with the aim of giving visibility to the role that the Monastery of Leça do Balio played in its relationship with the Portuguese Way of Saint James. This space of ecumenical spirituality presents a dynamic interaction between light and form. Built in white concrete, the 400 m² sculpture contemplates the “Viandante” (Wayfarer), which recalls the mission of this space as an appeal to one’s journey.
